Bangla translated  Her Benny written by Silas Hocking translate by Iftekhar Amin. Silas Kitto Hocking (24 March 1850 – 15 September 1935) was a Cornish novelist and Methodist preacher. He is known for his novel for youth called Her Benny (1879), which was a best-seller. Hocking wrote many novels aimed at children with a didactic bent. He wrote his first novel, Alec Green, while living in Liverpool in 1878. It was, however, with his second novel that he won great fame; Her Benny (1879), a story of the street children of Liverpool. It sold over a million copies and with it Hocking become one of the most popular authors in England. The novel was adapted to silent film in 1920 as Her Benny.

This magazine, which is in publication since 1933, has been edited by editors like Sagarmoy Ghosh in the past. The present editor is Harsha Dutta. After the death of Sagarmoy Ghosh, Desh started publishing non-fiction articles and essays on topics of current, historical and cultural interest. Anandamela is a children's periodical in the Bengali language published by ABP Limited (Ananda Bazar Patrika Group) from Kolkata, India. Also, with the Sunday issue of Ananda Bazar Patrika, the Bengali, daily newspaper, a colourful page is distributed free of cost- that page is named as Anandamela.
It is published monthly. It has been edited by several eminent personalities at different times including the poet Nirendranath Chakravarty, Ashoke Kumar Sarkar, and Debasish Bandopadhyay. The present editor is Paulami Sengupta. Anandamela is one of the oldest surviving Bengali children's magazines and is presently published once on the second day of every month. Many authors started writing for children through Anandamela; for example, author Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay was noticed as a children's author after writing Manojder Adbhut Baari, which was published in Anandamela as a serial novel. On 19 June 2004, Anandamela split up into two different magazines, the original Anandamela (for children of the age group 8 – 14), and Unish Kuri, (for teens and young adults of the age group 15 – 25). Both the magazines are edited by the same editor and editorial team.

Humayun Ahmed Was Born In Mohongonj, Netrokona, But His Home Village Is Kutubpur, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. His father, Faizur Rahman Ahmed, Was A Police Officer And His Mother Ayesha Foyez.
He Went To Schools In Sylhet, Comilla, Chittagong, Dinajpur And Bogra As His Father Lived In Different Places Upon Official Assignment. He Passed SSC Exam From Bogra Zilla School. He Passed HSC Exam From Dhaka College. He Studied Chemistry In Dhaka University And Earned BSc (Honors) And MSc With First Class Distinction.
Upon Graduation He Joined Bangladesh Agricultural University As A Lecturer. After Six Months He Joined Dhaka University As A Faculty Of The Department Of Chemistry. Later He Attended North Dakota State University For His PhD Studies. He Grew His Interest In Polymer Chemistry And Earned His PhD In That Subject. He Returned To Bangladesh And Resumed His Teaching Career In Dhaka University. In Mid 1990s He Left The Faculty Job To Devote All His Time To Writing And Film Production.
In 2011 He Had Been Diagnosed With Colorectal Cancer. He Died On 19 July 2012 at Bellevue Hospital In New York City. He Was Buried In Nuhash Polli.

Bangla Novel Pagla Saheber Kobor. Written By Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay. He Is A Famous Writer In Bengali Language. He Has Written Stories For Both Adults And Children. He Was Born In Bikrompur In Mymensingh District (Now In Bangladesh) On 2nd November 1935 And Lived There Up To Age Ten. 

He Spent His Childhood In Bihar And Many Places In Bengal And Assam Accompanying His Father, Who Worked In The Railways. He Passed Intermediate From The Victoria College, Before Taking A Masters In Bengali From Calcutta University.
